House Rules

Please help us keep our house tip-top. Put the bagged trash outside in the can. Empty sink, load dishwasher, and start dishwasher before leaving. Make sure all doors/windows are closed if the HVAC is on. We love to share, leave some-take some in our snack section. Pets are welcome, with a $100 pet fee per stay. We only ask that pets stay off the furniture.

The Lodge sits on top of Lookout Mountain on County Road 89, a few minutes outside the village of Mentone, Alabama. Nearby: - DeSoto State Park and DeSoto Falls: hiking trails, waterfalls and picnic areas - Little River Canyon National Preserve: canyon overlooks, swimming holes and scenic drives - Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort: winter skiing and summer golf - Downtown Mentone: local shops, restaurants and the Mentone Fall Festival in October - Fort Payne: groceries and more dining - Chattanooga: about an hour's drive for a day trip Fall color on the mountain usually peaks in late October and early November. We recommend bringing groceries, since the house is out in the country.
